Due to its volatile components, it is supportive in relieving the respiratory system.

It helps to relieve mild dyspeptic complaints such as heartburn and bloating.

It helps to alleviate excessive sweating.

It is recommended for the relief of inflammation in the throat or mouth.

Used Part: Leaves

Directions For Use:

In Tea Form: The tea is prepared by adding freshly boiled water onto 2 grams (1 teaspoon) of sage leaves in a lidded cup. After steeping for 5-10 minutes with the lid closed, it should be consumed.

It is recommended to drink 2-3 cups per day.

As a Gargle: Due to its antiseptic properties, for gum, palate, mouth, and throat inflammations, 2-3 grams (1 teaspoon) of sage leaves should be steeped in boiling water and prepared as tea, as described above. After it cools down to a warm temperature, it should be used as a gargle 3-4 times a day.

Warnings:

It is not recommended to use during pregnancy and lactation periods. When used in the recommended amount as tea, there is no risk involved.
